The Code Enforcement division is responsible for the enforcement of the Minimum Housing Code and Nuisance/Abatement provisions of the Town of Erwin code. This division is also responsible for all Building Inspections and issuance of building permits.

The Town of Erwin actively enforces a Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance within the municipal limits and within a one (1) mile radius of the municipal limits. Additional ordinances include a Mobile Home Ordinance, Nuisance Abatement Ordinance and a Tree Ordinance. There is a link below to the full Town of Erwin Code of Ordinances.
