Looking to get off the couch and get more active? Need a little help with that New Year’s Resolution? LOOK NO FURTHER!

Our Couch to 5K program is a 7-week beginners plan designed to get you off the off the couch and onto your feet. Each workout is no more than 30 minutes. This program will gradually ease you into walking/running and can transform you from a couch potato to a runner in just under two months!  Begins March 6th – April 19, 2017.  Classes meet Mondays & Wednesdays @ 5:30 at Al Woodall Park; Third day is homework.  The cost is $10 (includes sessions and T-shirt).  You can register HERE or at Town Hall.  Registration ends March 1, 2017.

*Participants are encouraged to take part in the Care Net 5K Run/Walk on April 24th, 2017 at the Dunn-Erwin Rail Trail after the program completion* (ENTRY FEE NOT COVERED BY THE PARKS AND REC DEPARTMENT)
